Pink and Squooshy

My spinning adventure continues, and I am thoroughly addicted now – as if I needed more hobbies! This skein started life as a delicious chain of BFL, hand-dyed by my friend Ana (who is getting name-checked on this blog in almost every post!!!).

It is great to be able to see my progress with spinning. This yarn is far more consistent than the last, there are still some crazily thick and thin sections, but a definite improvement. With Julianna’s help my plying is much better too, I’m beginning to think she should get points for enabling the rest of us!

Total points: 3.5 points.

Yardage: 130 yards of 2ply = 260 yards singles = 2.5 points.

Plying = 1 point.

I started working with the last of my fibre stash last night – which means I get to go shopping for more soon! Oooh the possibilities…..

    Hurray – you’re “thoroughly addicted” now!! You did an amazing job! Do you have any plans yet for what you want to make with it?

    Now you’re hooked on spinning, maybe dyeing will be next…All that bare roving at Knit-Knackers, and plenty of dyers around 😉
